Saving perio exams

Using the Dentrix Perio Chart, you can record mobility, furcation grades, plaque, calculus, bone loss, pocket depths, bleeding and suppuration points, gingival margins, CAL levels, and MGJ measurements. Once you save an exam, it becomes a permanent part of the selected patient’s chart information.

To save a perio exam

1.   Select a patient and conduct a perio exam.

2.   In the Perio Chart, click File, and then click Save Exam.

Notes:

·        If you are saving information entered into a blank exam, the exam is saved automatically with the current date.

·        If the exam you are saving contains information from a previous exam, a message appears.  

3.   Select the appropriate option to save your entries.

The information is saved according to the method you selected.
