Deleting a multi-code

You can delete any of the multi-codes, including those you have added.

Note: Deleting a multi-code does not affect completed or treatment-planned procedures; however, if you delete a multi-code that is attached to a future appointment, you must delete and re-create the appointment.

To delete a multi-code

1.   From the Maintenance menu in the Office Manager, point to Practice Setup, and then click Multi-Code Setup.

The Multi-Code Setup dialog box appears.

2.   Select the multi-code that you want to delete.

3.   Click Delete.

A message appears warning that if you have used the multi-code as a reason for a scheduled appointment, deleting the multi-code will delete the reason for the appointment.

4.   To continue with the deletion, click Yes.
