Entering treatment plan procedures

Posting procedures to a patient’s treatment plan is accomplished in the same manner as posting procedures to the patient’s Ledger. The most important difference is that procedures should be entered from the Treatment Plan view rather than from the Ledger.

To add a procedure to a patient’s treatment plan

1.   Switch to the Ledger's Treatment Plan view.

2.   Select a patient.

3.   In the Ledger's Treatment Plan view, click Transaction, and then click Enter Procedure.

The Enter Procedure(s) dialog box appears.

4.   Post procedures to the Procedure List using individual codes or multi-codes.

5.   Click OK/Post.

The procedures appear in the transaction log.

Note: You can access procedures added to the Treatment Plan in the Treatment Plan view, the Patient Chart, and the Appointment Book.
