Completing treatment-planned procedures

When you finish a recommended treatment, you need to set the procedure complete in the Treatment Plan. Setting a procedure complete removes it from the Treatment Plan view of the Ledger and posts it to the Ledger with the appropriate charge and insurance coverage information including any pre-authorizations you received.

To set a procedure complete

1.   With a patient selected in the Ledger, click Options, and then click Treatment Plan.

The Ledger title bar now reflects that you are in the Treatment Plan view.

2.   Select the procedures that you want to complete.

Note: To select multiple procedures, press and hold the Ctrl key, and then click the appropriate procedures.

3.   Click Transaction, and then click Set Procedures Complete.

The selected procedures transfer to the Ledger.

4.   To return to the Ledger, click Options, and then click Ledger.
