Printing a patient note report

You can create and print a report of all notes entered for a patient in Dentrix.

To print a Patient Note Report

1.   From the Family File, select a patient.

2.   From the File menu in the Family File, click Print Patient Notes.

The Patient Notes Report dialog box appears.

3.   If desired, change the patient, provider, or billing type ranges to alter the number of people in the generated report.

4.   Select the types of notes that you want to include on the report:

·        Patient Alert Notes - Prints notes entered in the Patient Alerts window for the selected patient. Type a date range for entered notes.

·        Perio Exam Notes - Prints all notes entered in the Diagnostics pane in the Perio Chart. Type a date range for entered notes.

·        Appointment Notes - Prints all notes attached to appointments scheduled in the entered date range.

·        Patient Notes - Prints all notes entered in the Patient Note field in the Family File.

·        Medical Alerts - Prints all medical alerts for the patient.

·        Continuing Care Notes - Prints the Motivational Note added in the Continuing Care Information screen.

·        Insurance Claim Notes - Prints all notes entered for insurance claims.

·        Insurance Plan Notes - Prints all notes attached to the patient’s insurance carrier.

·        Payment Plan Notes - Prints all notes attached to a Future Due Payment Plan set up for the patient.

·        Guarantor Note - Prints the guarantor note entered in the Ledger.

·        Guarantor Statement Note - Prints the Guarantor Statement Note entered in the Ledger.

·        Lab Case Note - Prints the note entered for the patient’s lab case.

5.   Do one of the following:

·        To print the report immediately, click Print.

·        To send the report to the Batch Processor for printing or viewing at a later time, click Send to batch.
