The Document Center lets you choose from several different toolbars while you are working in the Document Center:
· The Dentrix Modules toolbar displays buttons for each of the Dentrix modules.
· The Patient Information toolbar displays buttons specific to patient information.
· The Acquire toolbar displays buttons used to acquire a variety of documents from devices such as scanners and digital cameras. You can also import documents from files stored on your computer or attach an image or text as a document using the Windows Clipboard.
· The Document toolbar displays buttons to print, send, export, view, sign, modify, or delete documents.
· The View toolbar displays buttons to view documents by patient, family, provider or staff,employers, insurance carriers, and referral sources. You can also apply filters to view documents acquired within a certain date range and assigned to a certain document type.
· The Preview toolbar displays buttons that you can use in the Document Preview pane to page through a multi-page document.
· The Modify document toolbar displays buttons you can use to adjust and save the image document.
To display or remove a toolbar
In Treatment Planner, from the View menu, point to Toolbars, then click the toolbar you want to display or remove. A check mark next to a toolbar name indicates that the toolbar is being displayed.

Assign medical conditions and allergies to selected patients and keep a record of their health and treatments. |

Create prescriptions and accurately track medicines prescribed to your patients. |

Keep a record of past events and create reminders of future events. |

Access vital patient information, including treatment-planned work, balance, payment information, Office Journal entries, insurance information, and so forth. |

You can alter the appearance of image documents from the Document Preview pane using the Modify Document toolbar. Only image documents can be altered using the Modify Document toolbar. To display the image document, click the Show Preview button on the View toolbar.
To modify an image document
From the Document Center, in the Edit menu, click Modify Document.
The Modify Document toolbar appears in the Document Preview pane.
