Practice Analysis - Patient Summary Report

The Practice Analysis – Patient Summary Report displays patient statistics for a selected month.

 

Why:

To keep track of how many new patients and referred patients are seen each year, and to view how many patients were deleted from Dentrix in a selected month.

When:

Yearly and quarterly.

How do I run the Practice Analysis – Patient Summary Report?

In the Office Manager from the Reports menu, point to Management, and then click Practice Analysis Report. Select Patient Summary, and then click Batch or Print. For step-by-step instructions on how to run this report, see the Dentrix Help (in the Office Manager from the Help menu, click Contents).

Note: Unlike other Practice Analysis reports, this report runs only for the month entered in the From field.

What information does this report provide?

A.   Month – The month for which the report is run (the month entered in the From field when setting options for the report).

B.   Active Patients – The number of active patients, insured patients, male patients, female patients, patients 65 years of age and older, and patients 12 years of age and younger.

C.   All (any status) – The number of patients, families, new patients for the month of the report, new patients year-to-date, new patients referred to your practice during the month of the report, new patients referred to your practice year-to-date, patients deleted during the month of the report, and patients deleted year-to-date.
