
The Practice Advisor Report – Schedule Management shows practice details regarding schedule management for specific time periods.

1. In the Office Manager from the Analysis menu, click Practice Advisor.
The Practice Advisor dialog box appears.

Notes:
The Practice Advisor comes installed with industry-standard benchmarks from top dental consultants.
The benchmarks are intended for a general practice with one provider. The benchmarks will probably need to be modified for specialty practices or practices with more than one provider.
We recommend that you discuss the benchmarks with a practice management consultant or a profitability coach to determine if you need to customize any of the values.

2. Click Practice Advisor Report.
The Practice Advisor Report dialog box appears.

3. To include production statistics on the report, ensure Schedule Management is selected.
4. To Include new patient graphs on the report, ensure Include Graphs for Schedule Management is selected.
5. Click Preview to generate the report, send an email message with the report attached (if applicable), and then preview the report.
Each of the following Schedule Management items may have a Previous Month, Current Month-To-Date, Next Month, and/or Current Year-To-Date figure:
Dentist Average Hourly Production – Dentist Production divided by Dentist Available Time.
Dentist Unfilled Hours – # of Dentist Production Days (in minutes) minus Dentist Scheduled Time.
Hygienist Average Hourly Production – Hygienist Production divided by Hygienist Available Time.
Hygienist Unfilled Hours – # of Hygienist Production Days (in minutes) minus Hygienist Scheduled Time.
Scheduled Hours – The number of hours for all appointments that have been scheduled.
# of Broken Appointments not re-appointed – The number of broken appointments.
Scheduled Hours for Broken Appts – The number of minutes (appointment length) for all broken appointments.
Revenue Lost from Broken Appointments – Scheduled Hours for Broken Appts multiplied by Dentist Average Hourly Production.
Value of Dentist Unfilled Hours – Dentist Average Hourly Production multiplied by Dentist Unfilled Hours.
Value of Hygienist Unfilled Hours – Hygienist Average Hourly Production multiplied by Hygienist Unfilled Hours.
