Viewing concurrent users

Concurrent users are users who are logged in to Dentrix Ascend at the same time. You can quickly view the number of concurrent users that is allowed by your Dentrix Ascend subscription and the number of concurrent users during the current month.

To view concurrent users

1. On the Settings menu, under Location, click (or tap) User Accounts.

   The User Accounts page opens.

   

   The following information is available:

   • Concurrent user licenses - The maximum number of concurrent users that is allowed, which is the number of licenses that were purchased with your subscription to Dentrix Ascend.

   • Concurrent users this month - The greatest number of users who were logged in to Dentrix Ascend at any time during the current month.

2. If the maximum allowed number of concurrent users is ever exceeded during a given month, a warning symbol appears. Click (or tap) the symbol to view a list of users who were logged in to Dentrix Ascend at the same time during peak usage (when the most users were logged in at the same time).

   

   Notes:

   • On any day that overages occur, email messages are sent to people with user accounts that have been granted the "Create New User" security right.

   • At the end of each month, if there have been overages, email messages with a summary of the overages are sent to people with user accounts that have been granted the "Create New User" security right.
