Submitting ideas for features

You can suggest a new feature or a change in functionality for Dentrix Ascend. You can also vote on existing suggestions.

Notes:

• The idea portal is hosted by Pendo. You do not need a Pendo account to use the idea portal, but you must open the portal from Dentrix Ascend.

• Please read our Product Feedback Policy.

To submit an idea

1. On the Help menu , select Request a Feature.

   

   A panel appears on the right.

   

2. Do any of the following:

   • To submit a suggestion, do the following:

     1. Under Submit a Request for Dentrix Ascend, click (or tap) Make a Suggestion.

        The options for submitting a request become available.

        

     2. In the Title of request or suggestion box, enter a title to describe the suggestion.

        Under Did you mean..., existing suggestions that are related to what you enter appear.

     3. Do one of the following:

        • If an existing suggestion matches what you were intending to suggest, click (or tap) the corresponding I want this! button.

        • If there is not an existing suggestion that matches yours, enter your issue or enhancement in the What is your problem or what are you trying to achieve? box, optionally enter a temporary solution you have implemented in the What is your current work around? box, optionally select the applicable area of Dentrix Ascend from the Product Area list, and then click (or tap) Submit request.

   • To vote on a suggestion, under Suggested by Others, locate a suggestion, and then click (or tap) the I want this button (with a thumbs up icon) or the I'm not interested button (with a triple Z icon).

3. To rank the importance of the suggestions that you have submitted and voted on, for each idea under My Priorities, drag the horizontal slider. The sliders of any other ideas may change automatically.

   

4. To close the panel, click (or tap) the Close button (in the upper-right corner of the panel).
