Quickly adding or editing appointment notes

As you use the ASAP, Broken/No Show, and Pinboard lists to contact patients, you can now add or edit notes as needed for those appointments without having to leave the list that you are working from.

Note: Adding or editing appointment notes requires the "Manage Appointment" security right.

To add an appointment note

  1. On the Schedule menu, click (or tap) Calendar.

    The Calendar page opens.

  2. Click (or tap) Pinboard, and then select the ASAP, Broken/No Show, or Pinboard tab.

  3. If an appointment does not have a note, the Add Note icon appears on the lower-right corner of that appointment tile. To add a note, click (or tap) the icon.

  4. The Add Note dialog box appears.

  5. Enter a note.

  6. Click (or tap) Save.


To edit an appointment note

  1. On the Schedule menu, click (or tap) Calendar.

    The Calendar page opens.

  2. Click (or tap) Pinboard, and then select the ASAP, Broken/No Show, or Pinboard tab.

  3. If an appointment has a note, the Appointment Note icon appears on that appointment tile. To edit the note, click (or tap) the icon.

  4. The Edit Note dialog box appears.

  5. Edit, or add to, the existing note.

  6. Click (or tap) Save.
