Deleting clinical note templates
For any location, you can permanently delete any of the default clinical note templates that are included with Dentrix Ascend and any of your custom clinical note templates. This does not affect clinical notes that are already attached to patient records.
Notes:

Deleting a clinical note template that was copied to the organization's shareable set from a location's current set does not delete the copied template from the organization's shareable set.

Deleting clinical note templates requires the "Manage clinical note templates" security right.

When entering or editing a patient's clinical note while logged in to a given location, a person has access to only that location's clinical note templates and his or her own favorite clinical note templates.
To delete a clinical note template

If you are not already viewing the correct location, select it on the Location menu.

On the Settings menu, under Patient Care, select Clinical Note Templates.
The Clinical Note Template Setup page opens. The Current Set tab is selected by default.

Select a clinical note template.
The options for editing the clinical note template appear.

Click (or tap) Delete.
A confirmation message appears.

Click (or tap) Delete.
