Daily Huddle Dashboard - Production, Collections

The Daily Huddle Dashboard - Production, Collections displays daily practice details for production and collections. Use this dashboard during your office's morning staff meetings to provide some daily statistics to help you focus on the patients coming in for treatment on the current day and/or the following day.

To view the Daily Huddle dashboard

1. Do one of the following:

   • On the Power Reporting page, click (or tap) the Daily Huddle Dashboard - Production, Collections icon.

     

   • On the Insights page, click (or tap) theDaily Huddle Dashboard - Production, Collections link.

   The Daily Huddle appears.

   

   The dashboard contains the following reports:

   • Completed Production - Yesterday - The report displays the total dollar amount of production per specialty (such as General Practice or Hygienist) of the providers of procedures posted yesterday at your location. The report also displays a combined total dollar amount for your location.

   • Completed Production - MTD - The report displays the total dollar amount of production per specialty (such as General Practice or Hygienist) of the providers of procedures posted since the beginning of the month at your location. The report also displays a combined total dollar amount for your location.

   • Scheduled Production - Today - The report displays the gross scheduled production per specialty (such as General Practice or Hygienist) of the providers assigned to appointments scheduled for today at your location. The report also displays a combined total of the gross scheduled production amounts for your location. Gross scheduled production is the sum of the charges for scheduled procedures without any discounts or adjustments deducted.

   • Collections - Yesterday - The report displays the dollar amount of collections (as a negative number) from yesterday at your location. The report displays amounts by category, such as guarantor payments and insurance payments, and displays a grand total of those amounts.

   • Collections - MTD - The report displays the dollar amount of collections (as a negative number) since the beginning of the month at your location. The report displays amounts by category, such as guarantor payments and insurance payments, and displays a grand total of those amounts.

   • Scheduled Production - Remaining Month - The report displays the gross scheduled production per specialty (such as General Practice or Hygienist) of the providers assigned to appointments scheduled for today or any day until the end of the month at your location. The report also displays a combined total of the gross scheduled production amounts for your location. Gross scheduled production is the sum of the charges for scheduled procedures without any discounts or adjustments deducted.

   • Collections % - Yesterday - The report displays the percentage of collections (as a negative number) from yesterday at your location.

   • Collections % - MTD - The report displays the percentage of collections (as a negative number) since the beginning of the month at your location.

2. The data from your database syncs with the reporting system automatically and displays the time of the last sync on the Data as of button. Data entered in Dentrix Ascend after the time shown will not be available on the report until the next sync. To view the time when the next sync is expected to occur, click (or tap) the Data as of button.

   

3. For any of the reports, do any of the following as needed:

   • To view the filters being used for the report, expand the Filters list. To remove any of the filters temporarily, click (or tap) the corresponding X.

     

   • To export the report as a .pdf or an .xslx file, from the Actions menu, click (or tap) Export to PDF or Export to Excel, respectively.

     Note: The Actions menu also has options for viewing grand totals and for viewing the report as a table or various types of charts.
