Daily Huddle Dashboard - New Patients

The Daily Huddle Dashboard - New Patients displays daily practice details for new patients and scheduling. Use this dashboard during your office's morning staff meetings to provide some daily statistics to help you focus on the patients coming in for treatment on the current day and/or the following day.

To view the Daily Huddle dashboard

  1. Do one of the following:

    • On the Power Reporting page, click (or tap) the Daily Huddle Dashboard - New Patients icon.

    • On the Insights page, click (or tap) the Daily Huddle Dashboard - New Patients link.

    The Daily Huddle Dashboard - New Patients appears.

    The dashboard contains the following reports:

    • New Patients Seen - Yesterday - The report displays the number of patients who have a first visit date yesterday at your location and, of those new patients, the number and percentage who scheduled a future appointment.

    • New Patients Seen - MTD - The report displays the number of patients who have a first visit date since the beginning of the month at your location and, of those new patients, the number and percentage who scheduled a future appointment.

    • New Patients Seen Chart - The chart represents the number of patients who have a first visit date this month or in any of the previous five months at your location.

    • New Patients Scheduled - Today - The report displays the number of new patients who have an appointment scheduled for today at your location. The report does not include patients who have an appointment with a Broken or No-show status.

    • New Patients Scheduled - Remaining Month - The report displays the number of patients who have an appointment scheduled for today or any day until the end of the month at your location. The report does not include patients who have an appointment with a Broken or No-show status. The report also displays a combined total dollar amount for your location.

    • New Patients Scheduled Chart - The chart represents the number of new patients who have an appointment scheduled at your location this month or in any of the previous five months. The report does not include patients who have an appointment with a Broken or No-show status.

  2. The data from your database syncs with the reporting system automatically and displays the time of the last sync on the Data as of button. Data entered in Dentrix Ascend after the time shown will not be available on the report until the next sync. To view the time when the next sync is expected to occur, click (or tap) the Data as of button.

  3. For any of the reports, do any of the following as needed:

    • To view the filters being used for the report, expand the Filters list. To remove any of the filters temporarily, click (or tap) the corresponding X.

    • To export the report as a .pdf or an .xslx file, from the Actions menu, click (or tap) Export to PDF or Export to Excel, respectively.

      Note: The Actions menu also has options for viewing grand totals and for viewing the report as a table or various types of charts.
