Customizing Consent for Dental Treatment messages
You can customize the Consent for Dental Treatment message that appears at the bottom of printed treatment plans and on treatment consent forms. Each location in your organization can have a different Consent for Dental Treatment message.
Note: A printed treatment plan or a consent form will have one of the financial disclaimers (Insured/Uninsured Disclaimers), the Consent for Dental Treatment message, and any applicable custom treatment consent messages.
To customize a consent for dental treatment message

If you are not already viewing the correct location, select it on the Location menu.

On the Settings menu, under Patient Care, select Treatment Plan Settings.
The Treatment Consent Messages page opens.

Select Consent for Dental Treatment.
The options for editing the message become available.

Customize the text that will appear:

English - From the Language list, select English, and then change the text.

Spanish - From the Language list, select Spanish, and then change the text.
Notes:

Patients whose records do not have Spanish as their preferred language will see the English version. Patients whose records have Spanish as their preferred language will see the Spanish version.

To not include a Consent for Dental Treatment message, delete any text in the box.

To return the box's text to the system default, click (or tap) the Reset to default link.

There is no limit to the length of the message.

Click (or tap) Save.
