Copying clinical note templates to the shareable set

You can copy any of a location's clinical note templates to your organization's shareable set.

Notes:

• Copying location-specific clinical note templates to the organization's shareable set requires the "Manage clinical note templates" and "Manage Shareable Set" security rights. To help prevent unwanted changes to these master templates, you may want to restrict who is granted the "Manage Shareable Set" security right.

• When entering or editing a patient's clinical note while logged in to a given location, a person has access to only that location's clinical note templates and his or her own favorite clinical note templates.

To copy clinical note templates to the shareable set

1. If you are not already viewing the correct location, select it on the Location menu.

2. On the Settings menu, under Patient Care, select Clinical Note Templates.

   The Clinical Note Template Setup page opens. The Current Set tab is selected by default.

   

3. Select the checkboxes of the clinical note templates that you want to copy to the shareable set.

   

4. Click (or tap) Copy to Shareable. This button is available only if at least one template's checkbox is selected.
