Special Instructions for Denti-Cal

Henry Schein One can now automatically verify patient eligibility for Denti-Cal subscribers (Payor ID 94146). These requests, and their related responses, are at the "Essentials" (EDI Level). Essentials level requests do not typically require any additional configuration, but Denti-Cal requires a unique setup before eligibility can be verified.

1. Open the "Payer Connection Portal"
• Open Office Manager > Maintenance > Reference > Payer Connection Portal.
2. In the Payer Connection Portal, from across the top of the window select the "Denti-Cal Setup" tab.
3. Enter your Billing NPI and the associated Provider PIN (must correspond to the Billing NPI) into the applicable fields.
4. Click Save.
