Viewing employer information

In eDex, you can view a patient's employer information including any of your other patients who are employed by the same employer. From the Employer pane, you can also view the primary and/or secondary insurance plans associated with a patient and his or her employer.

To view employer information

1.   Select a patient from the eDex Contact List.

2.   Click the Employer link.

The Employer pane appears listing all of your patients who are employed by this employer and the insurance plans linked to the employee.

3.   To view the insurance plan, double-click it.

The insurance plan pane appears from which you can view the coverage table, insurance carrier notes, other patients on the insurance plan, and custom notes.
