Searching for contacts  

You can search for a contact by simply typing in the Search by text box. You can search by a contact's name, phone numbers, or email or home addresses.

To search for a contact

1.   In the toolbar of any Dentrix module, click the eDex button.

The eDex window appears.

2.   In the Search text box, type the first few characters of the contact's name, addresses, or phone numbers.

The contact's name appears in the Contact List.
