In Dentrix, you can create custom perio navigation scripts to chart bleeding, suppuration, and furcation before you enter any measured data, such as probing depths or gingival margins.
To create a bleeding, suppuration, and furcation navigation script
1. In the Perio Chart, click File, and then click Entry Settings Setup.
The Entry Settings Setup dialog box appears.
2. Select a perio navigation script that you created from the list, and then click Edit.
The Edit Mouth Navigation Setup dialog box appears.
3. Type a new name for the script.
4. Select Enter Bleeding, Suppuration, and Furcation before measured data instead of after, and then click OK.
The new script is added to the Perio Navigation Scripts list.
