When you click the Patient Eligibility button in the DXWeb toolbar, you can quickly check insurance eligibility for your patients.
When you search for Patient Eligibility, a request for verification of eligibility is sent to the patient's insurance company. Eligibility responses are usually returned within 24 hours, but they vary based on the payor's response time.
Any patient eligibility information that you have obtained in the past or that was requested during the WebSync is listed on the main patient eligibility page. When eligibility results are returned, they are listed at the top of this list.
You can view the details of a patient's insurance plan by clicking the Yes or No links in the Eligible column.
