Adding billing statement notes

You can set up a library of custom notes in Dentrix. These notes serve as templates that you can draw from. You can use the text of any note without changing it or customize it as needed, depending on the situation for which you are adding a note.

Billing statement notes are account-specific information that print automatically on a guarantor's billing statement. You can enter or view billing statement notes while viewing any member of a family. You can also edit or delete billing statement notes.

To add a billing statement note

1.   In the Office Manager, click Maintenance, point to Practice Setup > Custom Notes, and then click Billing Statement Notes Setup.

The Custom Billing Statement Notes Setup dialog box appears.

2.   Click New.

The New Custom Billing Statement Note dialog box appears.

3.   Do the following:

·        Type a description for the note.

·        Type a note of up to 840 characters.

·        Click the spell check button to perform a spell check of the note's text.

4.   Click OK.
