Editing current transactions      

If you posted a transaction to the Ledger or the Patient Chart since the last time a month was closed out, you can edit it.

To edit a current transaction

1.   With a patient selected in the Ledger, double-click the transaction that you want to change.

The Edit or Delete Procedure dialog box appears.

Note: If you flagged the edited procedure for medical cross-coding, the medical cross-coding fields appear when you edit the procedure. For more information on using the cross-coding fields, see Cross-coding procedures .

2.   Make any necessary changes to the transaction.

3.   Click OK to save your changes and return to the Ledger.

Note: Changes to completed transactions are stored in the Dentrix Audit file. You can generate an Audit Trail Report to show the original entry along with the change.
