Editing lab cases

You can edit the lab cases that you have created.

To edit a lab case

1.   In the Lab Case Manager, select a case from the list, click Edit, and then click Edit Case.

The Edit Case dialog box appears.

2.   Do one or more of the following as appropriate:

·        Case Information - Change the creation date, provider, and/or category.

·        Case Note - Type a new or edit a previous note.

·        Enclosures - Change the type of enclosure attached to the case.

·        Send Information - Change the lab, shipping method, tracking number, send date, and/or shipping cost.

·        Information From Lab - Change the case number and/or the date the lab returned the case.

·        Close Options - Select an option.

3.   To edit the procedure, click the Procedure Information search button.

The Treatment Plan dialog box appears.

4.   Select the appropriate procedure in the list, and then click Edit.

The Edit or Delete Procedure dialog box appears.

5.   Make the appropriate changes, and then click OK.

6.   To save your changes and close the Edit Case dialog box, click OK.
