You can use the Misc Options tab to set miscellaneous options, such as case status, appointments, and patient age.
To set the Miscellaneous Options view
1. In the Lab Case Manager, click View.
The Lab Case Manager View dialog box appears.
2. Click the Misc Options tab, and do the following:
· Lab Treatment Category - Click the From and To search buttons and select a range of lab treatment categories. If you select <ALL> in both fields, you can view all cases regardless of category.
· Appointments - Select one of the following options:
· All - Includes all cases regardless of whether an appointment is attached to the case.
· Attached - Includes only cases attached to an appointment within a date range. Type the date range in the From and To fields.
· Not Attached - Includes only cases that are not attached to an appointment in a date range. Type the date range in the From and To fields.
· Include Case Status - Select one or more of the following options:
· Sent Cases - Includes cases with a Sent status.
· Received Cases - Includes cases with a Received status.
· Finished Cases - Includes cases with a Finished status.
· Misc - Select one of the following:
· Emergency Cases Only - Includes emergency cases only.
· Late Cases Only - Includes late cases only.
· Patient Age - Includes patients in an age range. Type the range in the From and To fields. The default is to include all ages.
3. To save your settings, select Save as Default.
4. Click OK.
A message appears, and the Lab Case Manager reloads.
