Reactivating archived patients
If archived patients return to your practice, you can reactivate them and restore all address, procedures, insurance claims, payments, adjustments, medical alerts, prescriptions, patient questionnaires, and periodontal exams.
To reactivate an archived patient
1. From the File menu in the Family File, click Select Patient.
The Select Patient dialog box appears.
2. Select Include Archived Patients.
3. Select the archived patient you want to reactivate, and then click OK.
4. In the Family File window, double-click the Patient Information block.
The following message appears.
5. Click OK.
The patient's status is changed to Patient.
Note: Refer to the patient's Patient Notes regarding previous continuing care, employer, insurance, and referral information.
