Pasting from the Clipboard saves the most recent contents of the Clipboard (using the Copy command) as the closest supported file type. Text that you copy and import into the Document Center from the Clipboard is not formatted and is without margins. Paste from Clipboard works best if a graphic is copied to the Clipboard or if the text is acceptable without margins.
Note: Because of the nature of the Clipboard, the resulting Document Center document may not be what is expected.
To paste from the Clipboard
1. Select the graphic or text you want to copy and press Ctrl + C.
2. In the Document Center, click Acquire, and then click Paste from Clipboard.
The contents of the Clipboard are imported, and the Document Information dialog box appears.
3. Click Entering document information for more information on using the Document Information dialog box.
Note: If there is no information on your Clipboard, Paste from Clipboard will not be active.
