Setting up the SOTA Clio Prime sensor

Dentrix Imaging supports acquiring intraoral images from the SOTA Clio Prime intraoral X-ray sensor on computers running the Windows operating system. You must install the Clio Prime sensor drivers on each computer the Clio Prime sensor is connected to.

Note: Before installing the Clio Prime sensor, you must install the acquisition agent application on each computer that you use to acquire images. Please refer to Setting up the acquisition agent for instructions on downloading and installing the acquisition agent.

Minimum version(s)

·        Acquisition agent v1.2.8291.x

Installing and configuring the Clio Prime sensor

1.   Install the drivers for the Clio Prime sensor.

2.   Create a Correction Files folder in the following location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Acquisition Agent.

Testing

Once the Clio Prime sensor is functional, you can test it by acquiring an image.

To acquire an image

1.   In the Imaging Procedures list, click Bitewing Single Image.

2.   In the tooth selection chart, click the teeth you want to image.

3.   In the Acquisition method for this imaging exam menu, click Clio Prime, and then click Proceed with Acquisition.

4.   Acquire an image using the Clio Prime sensor.

Troubleshooting

Make sure that the Clio Prime sensor is detected by the computer. Open Device Manager, and then verify that the device appears.
