Adjusting Carestream RVG 6200 sensor image quality

Depending on the sensor model, adjusting image quality differs.

To adjust Carestream sensor image quality for the 6200 model

1.   Navigate to %temp%/CarestreamRVG.

2.   Copy the DCM image file.

Note: If a DCM image file does not exist, capture a 1PA exam with the sensor. After acquisition, the image appears in the Temp folder.

3.   Paste the image to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Trophy\IPET\config\sample_images, and then rename the file rvg_6200.dcm.

Note: If a file with that name already exists, rename the existing file to old_rvg_6200.dcm, and then retry naming the new file.

4.   Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Trophy\IPET\bin, and double-click ipet.exe.

A warning message appears.

5.   Click I agree.

6.   Select RVG 6200, and then click Open CS Adapt Library.

7.   Do one of the following:

·        Select the filter you most prefer.

·        Select Modify Favorite for more options.

·        Select Apply at acquisition.

8.   To apply filtering to new images, click Save and Exit.
