Changing the layout of the Patient Chart to Progress Notes makes it easier to work with a patient's progress notes by hiding the Graphic Chart and the Procedure Buttons and Procedure Codes panels and expanding the Progress Notes panel.
To change to the Progress Notes layout
1. Select a patient.
2. In the Patient Chart, click View, point to Chart Layout, and then click Progress Notes.
The expanded Progress Notes view appears.
